I love it, I want it, How does it work?

Step 1. Take a look at my style guide here to see if there is a something that suits your style and taste:  Classic, Graphic, Art 

Step 2: Email me tessa@tessathedresser.com  or use the contact form here and include the following information I need to provide a quote:

• Description of the item needing repair.  Dark blue cashmere jumper/ vintage denim jeans.
• Type of repair: stains, rips, moth holes, worn out elbows etc.
• Estimated number of repairs

Take some photos of the item in good light,( daylight if possible)  of the areas that need repair work.

Include your hand/finger or an everyday object like a coin to give an idea of size, and placement of the work.

For holes or worn areas place a piece of paper behind to give better visibility.

Step 3: I will provide a first estimated cost based on the images either by hole or by hourly rate, then you can 

decide if you want to continue with the investment in your loved item.

Step 4: Post your ( clean) item to me using a tracked delivery service. If there are moth holes, please place the item in the 

freezer for 48 hours before sending to eliminate any moth larvae.

Step 5: I examine the item more closely discuss confirm the cost estimate and timescale. Deposit paid.

Step 6: We discuss colours and designs and the magic begins

Step 7: Restoried, visibly mended item images sent to you and payment requested.

Step 8: Package of joy returned by tracked delivery for wearing and loving.
